Last weekend, Gaztelueta School, in collaboration with Getxo Rugby, organised an exciting Rugby Open Day, an initiative designed to bring this sport closer to children and their families.
In an atmosphere full of energy and enthusiasm, dozens of children and their families participated in various activities that, in addition to fun, promoted essential rugby values such as teamwork, discipline, respect and self-improvement.
From early on, the school's football pitch was filled with smiles and unforgettable moments. The Getxo Rugby coaches guided the children in exercises adapted for all ages, teaching them everything from the basics of the game to dynamics that encourage companionship and solidarity in a sport that goes far beyond competition.
For Gaztelueta, sport and family are fundamental pillars in the education of our students and this day proves it once again. The activity not only allowed students to enjoy a new sporting discipline, but also gave families the opportunity to share a unique experience with their children, strengthening the bonds that enrich our educational community.
The day concluded with a snack where participants and organisers exchanged impressions and reflections on the event, making clear the positive impact that these activities have on the integral development of the students.
