This weekend we have begun to celebrate, in turn, the First Communion ceremonies of the 4th Primary pupils.
After preparing themselves, at home with their families and at school since they started 2nd grade and after these last months of regular catechesis, they finally received Holy Communion for the first time. The first ceremonies took place in the parish church of Saint John the Baptist (Leioa). On this important day, each student was accompanied by a few family members in order to respect the capacity of the 35% in the parish of Leioa.
After the solemn ceremony, the children made a floral offering to the image of Our Lady on the altar of the church.
Next weekend there will be three more shifts, two in this same parish (San Juan Bautista) and another one in San Bartolomé Apóstol, a parish also located in Leioa.
Gaztelueta is a christian identity school in which, with the aim of accompanying families in educating their children, Christian formation is offered. During their time at the school and after adequate preparation, pupils can receive the Sacraments of the Blessed Sacrament and the Sacraments of Reconciliation. ConfessionCommunion and Confirmation.
