On Thursday, 11 March, the VIII University and Vocational Guidance Day for 1st year Baccalaureate students.
In the knowledge that this course is fundamental, not only from the point of view of their academic record, but also to guide the choice of their professional future, different university and professional orientation sessions were organised according to the baccalaureate courses chosen by the students, as well as their personal interests.
The day opened with a session on university and professional orientation given by José Luis Zayas, alumnus and Page Group Director at Michael Page. In his speech, he guided the students on how the labour market works and the role of education and values. This was followed by sessions on law, engineering, scientific research, economics, technology, medicine, telecommunications, communication, pharmacy and nutrition. Here you can consult the speakers of the different sessions.
The coordinator of the Baccalaureate stage put the finishing touch to give them some advice on the imminent stage of university based on the experience of previous promotions. A few years ago we started to organise this conference in collaboration with the Alumni Associationand the experience with students from previous years tells us that the information received is of great help.
