In order to guarantee -as far as possible- the health of everyone, at Gaztelueta we have adapted the facilities to the health protocols. We also attach a summary of the advice and safety measures - measures that must be complied with during your stay at Gaztelueta - to protect the health of students and professionals at the school.
Temperature measurement
You should take your temperature before leaving home. If the temperature is above 37 degrees Celsius, it is not allowed to attend school.
Ventilation
Common rooms should be ventilated frequently. Open windows facilitate air circulation and air renewal.
3. Access to Gaztelueta
School arrivals and departures will be staggered.
4. Thorough cleaning
We have reinforced cleaning and disinfection measures through ozone systems and disinfectant wipes, among others.
5. Use of the mask
Pupils, teachers and other professionals must wear masks while on school premises.
6. Use of disinfectant gel
Bottles of disinfectant gel have been placed in all staff rooms and classrooms. Hand disinfection should be frequent, several times a day, when entering and leaving the premises and at every change of space.
7. Social distance
Meetings shall be held outdoors or in the large rooms provided by the school. A minimum interpersonal distance of two metres shall be maintained.
8. Permitted areas
Movement of staff and pupils shall be restricted to the hall to which they belong and to outdoor areas only. Movement to other halls shall be avoided as far as possible.
At Gaztelueta we also have 52.969 m2 of green area. Almost 5.3 hectares of land for pupils to spend breaks between classes, with enough comfort to maintain social distance.
The school also has 17,000 m2 dedicated to sport, a third of its total surface area: football pitch, swimming pool, indoor multi-sports courts and a complete sports centre. The variety and size of the facilities has made it easier for us to reorganise the spaces for the pupils.
