They play a fundamental role in any family, they are a source of support and affection, and we must always remember and be grateful for this. For this reason, at school we like to pay tribute to them by preparing a special day together with their grandchildren in Infant Education.
On this occasion, organised by the English, Basque and Spanish departments, the meeting is prepared with great care: posters are prepared and decorated by the grandchildren, murals are made with endearing photos, as well as personalised diplomas with messages of affection from the children to their elders. They also rehearse for days what will later be performed for their grandparents.
Together with their teachers, they finally come to welcome their grandparents, and then adults and children enjoy playing bingo, riddles, or singing and dancing together in an endearing morning.
From the school we join in this thanks and this tribute, which is never enough to recognise their immense work for the families and especially their beloved grandchildren.
