On the last day of the school year, 4th ESO students received a visit from the writer Alfonso del Río, author of "Ioannes" and more recently "La ciudad de la lluvia", published by Editorial Planeta. He explained to the pupils the process a writer goes through when researching, writing and revising a literary work. He also described the difficulties of finding publishers interested in publishing, and the resilience needed to constantly create variations, and adjust to the demands posed by publishers.
With the help of figures such as Vicente del Bosque, he managed to publish his second novel, which was a great success. The author shared with the students the background of the novel, of the noir genre, which brings together different subplots in a single story in an intelligent way and in accordance with the history of Bilbao and the Second World War..
