Bearing in mind that at the infant stage, we are in a period of a key moment in which pupils are building the foundations of the personality on which their future learning will be based. The personal development project helps the progressive acquisition of autonomy and basic social habits.
For this reason, this year, after a summer of intense preparation, we want to give a new impetus to the educational project. The novelty is the different workshops in which, through the vehicular languageschildren will develop their learning.
A fun and engaging complete literacy method for children to learn to use the basic alphabetic code for beginning reading and writing in English.
English.
Through arts education, pupils can get to know themselves better, express their inner world and give expression to their imagination and creativity.
We work on mathematical reasoning through the "Active Mathematics" project. The children experience mathematics, discovering basic concepts through play, games, games of chance, and
experimentation and manipulative work. We seek to develop logical thinking by making students aware of what they learn and how they learn it.
From the age of 3, children begin to work on programming language in English. The Bee Bots are fun and friendly robotic bees with which our Infant pupils learn to program. They form part of the classroom and are a new and motivating resource for the little ones.
We educate from emotions by talking about different real or hypothetical situations with which students are familiar at home or in the classroom.
In small groups, with native teachers, and through storytelling and games, pupils from infant onwards learn to listen and acquire the necessary basis for mastering English in the future.
In the Neuromotor Programme we implement a wide variety of movement-based exercises to harmonise psychomotor and brain development.
In this workshop they develop their artistic skills, dance, sing, meet great composers and improve their rhythmic ability.
Through this workshop, children are introduced to the world of science by carrying out different experiments where they manipulate, observe and play with objects.
Gaztelueta promotes an education based on personal, social and civic values, which help students to reach maturity. Companionship, teamwork, generosity, joy and order are aspects that are dealt with throughout the course.
