For 8 years now, the Leioa City Council convenes a group of pupils from local schools during school hours to share their opinions, views and wishes with the Mayor, helping him to make decisions with the intention that he enriches and learns through the eyes of children in his municipal responsibility.
The Leioa Children's Council is a work team made up of 22 pupils aged between 10 and 12, including two 4th year pupils from Gaztelueta Primary School: Javier Martínez and Juan Echevarría.
