The pupils of 1st, 2nd and 3rd Infants, 5th and 6th Primary have enjoyed in the last few days of their cultural outings in the first quarter.
Infant pupils visited the Mendikosolo ParkThe children visited a pleasant semi-urban park located on the outskirts of Bilbao, in the municipality of Arrigorriaga. Throughout the day, they enjoyed the landscape, paying special attention to the changes it has undergone with the change of season, putting into practice many concepts worked on during these days at school.
On the other hand, the students of Primary 5 were in the ekoetxea of Peñas Negrasin La Arboleda. A ekoetxea Meatzaldea is an environmental information and awareness centre managed by the Department of the Environment and Territorial Policy of the Basque Government, located in the heart of the mining territory and which constitutes a strategic observation point of a wide landscape arc, key to appreciate the changes that the landscape has undergone as a result of mining activity.
For their part, the students of Primary 6 attended the Gernika Meeting House.A monumental complex declared an Asset of Cultural Interest, a symbol of the history of Bizkaia and the Basque Country.
