Culture, sport and sustainability

We promote the arts and humanities to ensure that the intellectual growth of our students is harmonious and sustainable. History, literature, philosophy, the debate of ideas, art, beauty and an aesthetic view of our environment are essential aspects in the integral formation of the students.

Sports club

As with all the other activities we offer at the school, our aim is that sport will help your children's education, as it is an area in which they can acquire many virtues.

Sustainable education

The school is strongly committed to respecting the environment and to instilling these values in the pupils. Responsibility for one's own actions and the impact they may have on the environment is worked on throughout the year in a cross curricular way.

Our motto

"Be our yes, yes. Be our no, no".

The school's motto responds to a founding desire to give special prominence to the habits of sincerity and loyalty.
Gaztelueta is a corporate work of Opus Dei, which is exclusively responsible for Christian orientation. Religious formation activities are organised for pupils, teachers and parents who wish to attend, always on a voluntary basis.

Visual arts

Gaztelueta encourages the plastic arts as a means of personal expression for pupils. Creativity is developed through curricular and extracurricular subjects; drawing, painting and the arts have an important presence in the school.

Theatre

Theatre is a powerful tool in the learning process. Designed mainly for primary school pupils as part of the curricular project, and in secondary and high school as an extracurricular activity, theatre enhances pupils' oral and corporal expression, memory, spatial sense and artistic sensitivity.

Musical skills

Music is an attractive resource that favours learning and, for this reason, it is worked on in all its dimensions. Daily contact with it benefits motor and intellectual development at an early age.
We turn to music many times in our lives as a source of inspiration or comfort, understanding or sympathy.

Debate

In order for secondary school pupils to learn to participate in different communicative situations and to verbalise their ideas in a logical and orderly manner, we promote debate activities in the subject of language.
Through dialogue, the confrontation of ideas and the search for arguments, they learn to express themselves and to understand all the people around them.

Reading Plan

We have a reading plan for each year and adapted to each age group, so that pupils can progressively develop all the stages of reading comprehension in order to acquire the reading habit, which is what we are looking for, because it is the gateway to so many other benefits, including, of course, the pleasure it generates for the reader.
