For more than thirty years, the Gaztelueta Foundation has been the expression of the school's social responsibility. In the 2017/18 academic year, scholarships and study grants were awarded to hundreds of students, cultural events were organised and solidarity programmes were supported.
The Founding Ceremony of this year's course had as speaker of honour Manfred NolteD. in economics, professor at the Deusto Business School and well-known contributor to the Economy section of the daily newspaper The Courierwho gave the lecture 2008-2018, the lost decade.
In the presence of alumni, families and friends, and in an auditorium decorated for the occasion, Nolte explained in an informative way the causes, elements and consequences of the last great economic crisis, as well as predicting where he believes the economy will go in the coming years.
