In September, secondary school students were explaining the Greenpower project Gaztelueta in front of the port of Castro Urdiales. As the weather was fine, many families came to visit the project stand. In addition, the children who wanted to could test the car in front of the promenade.

Greenpower Inspiring Engineers takes place in numerous schools in England and currently involves more than 8000 students. Greenpower has crossed borders to countries such as Brazil, Canada, USA, India, Ireland and South Africa, among others.

The methodology developed by Greenpower at the school since last year has been adapted to different age groups in order to support students in the development of competencies. Among others, Project Management skills (resource allocation, team roles, task allocation, critical paths, etc.), Risk Management and Finance Management are put into play.

This project also aims to foster connections between the educational sphere and the business world. To do this, the young people have to look for the necessary sponsors and resources to bring their project to fruition, working on communication and sales skills, as well as drawing up a business plan, which they have to prepare and explain to the sponsors, and defend in English. Although the teachers guide them at certain times, it is the students themselves who have to organise themselves and make the decisions.
