On the morning of Sunday 31 March an event took place in the Plaza de la Estación in Las Arenas. Greenpower in which, along with other schools, Gaztelueta took part. It consisted of a series of tests that had to be carried out by driving the electric and ecological cars that the pupils have been building over the last few months:
- Drag: The drivers had to cover a straight line of about 15 metres in the shortest possible time. In this discipline, one of the school's three teams took third place.
- Slalom: The drivers had to drive the "Goblin" from one point to another, passing between the cones on the course.
- Sprint: A typical race in which they competed two by two or three by three in a pure elimination phase, eliminating competitors until they reached a final of 3 participants, in which Gaztelueta managed to put one of its cars, to finally come third in the final.
In addition to testing the cars, the pupils from the different schools exhibited their cars at the House of Culture of Romo their presentations on the development of the Greenpower project in their schools. The Gaztelueta students stood out for their communication skills in English and won the first prize.
