Held at the Bizkaia Aretoa in Bilbao under the title "The adventure of educating the digital leaders of the future", has been a great opportunity for parents, professionals and educators to listen to more than twenty experts from different fields talk about digital education in its different aspects, share experiences, get inspired and inspire others to face the challenges of digital education. the new challenges that the 21st century presents.
Day I - 20 September
The congress was opened by Juan Manuel MoraThe Vice Chancellor of the University of Navarra, who described how citizens perceive trust in institutions and on what factors the credibility of these institutions depends.
He then intervened Javier TouriñoThe Vice-Rector of the International University of La Rioja, who reviewed the ways of teaching that currently predominate in both schools and universities, providing a diagnosis of possible ways of teaching, while proposing possible solutions.
The opening day closed Paloma Díaz SoloagaProfessor of Intangibles, Brand and Fashion at the Complutense University of Madrid. In her presentation, she explained the reasons why children and adolescents are so fascinated by the influencersHe also highlighted the existence of both negative and positive role models, and gave advice on the ways in which both families and educators can approach these realities in order to guide them.
Day II - 21 September
The second day consisted of a round table and four rounds of simultaneous sessions in different rooms in which the congress participants could choose which one to listen to. The sessions addressed such topical issues as the brandingThe main themes of the conference are: hyperconnection, ethics in networks, the different successful innovative educational methods and how to educate our children about technology.
They starred among others Juan Pablo Sánchezfrom the world's top 100 flipped classroom teachers, and Pedro Mir, consultant in TopLineMarketing, start-up advisor and marketing lecturer at several universities.
The round table consisted of Pia Garciacoordinator of Empantallados.com, platform offering educational resources for families and educators; Arturo Monterogeometry teacher in Madrid who has found on Youtube the best tool to facilitate the learning of its students and nearly 33,000 subscribers; and Juan Pablo Sánchez, an expert in flipped classroom.
In the afternoon he put the brush Caroline Knorr, an educational content journalist, marketing expert and specialist in translating vast amounts of information into digestible chunks so that families can make informed decisions.
Day III - 22 September

Thanks to the Gaztelueta Foundation, COAS Educational Group and Caixabank, as well as the collaboration of the UPV/EHU, Common Sense Media, Digipen, Hirukide and FAPAE, The Interaxion Congress 2018 was a success because it fulfilled its objective, bringing new realities closer to educators and families, in order to face the new challenges of today's society with more information.
