The course director of the Institut Français in Bilbao, Elsa Krief, presented the official diplomas to the Secondary and Baccalaureate students who took the exam during the 18/19 academic year.

This language is taught as an optional subject at secondary level. Thanks to a agreement signed in January this year, the Institut Francais, which reports directly to the French Ministry of Foreign Affairs, allows the official DELF-DALF exams to be taken at the school. This entity thus joins the British Councilwhich also recognises the school as an official examination centre for Cambridge qualifications.
The school has also signed a number of other agreements partnership agreements with various nursery schools in Bilbao and Getxo. These centres and Gaztelueta collaborate jointly through various means. Gaztelueta thus continues with its mission to collaborate with different welfare and educational entities in the Basque Country with the aim of improving society.
