On the afternoon of 16th December, the Christmas Festival was held in the school sports centre, in a great atmosphere of families and pupils. The theme of this edition was traditional and modern games and the pupils showed their great artistic skills.
After a week of intense and continuous rehearsals, the afternoon was opened by the carol of 1st, 2nd and 3rd EP, who sang 'Oye pastorcillo', composed for the occasion by Álvaro Fuentes.
This was followed by a varied Primary percussion group dressed as chess figures, who performed a fast-paced and coordinated rhythm with several drummers. Next, 4th Primary staged a "Haka" or Maori dance that impressed with its realism and visual strength. Afterwards, groups from Bachillerato came on stage with performances and dances representing different games of yesterday and today, followed by Secondary. Also visual and impressive was the diabolo show, where the boys, dressed in a punk look, performed a show of balance and skill to the rhythm of catchy music that everyone loved.
There was also the traditional Christmas carol sung by parents who livened up the show even more, and above all there were several songs sung by music groups made up of children from the 2nd year of Bachillerato. For them the evening had a special flavour as it was the last one in which they participated as pupils of the school.
After the festival, the 2nd Bach class invited the attendees to a hot chocolate in the Central Pavilion.
