30 students built 6 electric cars during the Euskal Encounter held on 23, 24 and 25 July at the BEC (Bilbao Exhibition Center).

Primary 5 students divided into groups to build three electric cars.  Greenpower They competed in the Formula Goblin category. In turn, the 2nd ESO students, also in groups, built three more sophisticated cars to compete in the Formula 24 category.

This innovative project, which will be implemented in Science and Technology subjects in Primary and Secondary respectively, aims to develop STEAM skills. STEAM is an acronym that stands for Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts and Maths. 

It is a new learning model based on teaching the 5 disciplines in an integrated way rather than in separate subject areas, with an interdisciplinary and applied approach. In other words, it is a model in which students connect and relate disciplines, thus facilitating a more integrated and team-based learning experience.
