Jaime Aja Albero, a student of the 2nd Scientific-Technical Baccalaureate at Gaztelueta, has won the Bronze medal in the 29th Physics Olympiad of the Basque Country. The exam, in which fifty students representing schools from all over the Basque Country took part, was held on 2nd March at the Faculty of Science and Technology - UPV/EHUat the Leioa campus.
The objective of the Olympiad, organised by the Royal Spanish Physical Society (RSEF) is to disseminate Physics and to reward high school students with the highest level of knowledge in the subject.The four-hour test consisted of eight questions, four theory questions and four more reasoning questions to provide practical solutions, which the students had to explain in their own words.
