Once again this year, the Primary pupils celebrated the traditional Autumn Olympiad in Gaztelueta. This event, which has been held at the school since 1957, was created with the aim of encouraging pupils to take up athletics and to create an extraordinary event that would stimulate daily sporting practice.
From its beginnings and this time it could not be otherwise, the event allows the students to get to know first hand a high level athlete who shares with them his experience in the sporting field and consequently on a personal level. On this occasion it was the athlete Yolanda ReyesShe is a two-time world champion in various athletic disciplines among other achievements and an Olympic torchbearer at Barcelona '92.
On this occasion, the event took place during school hours as the first event was cancelled due to bad weather. Nevertheless, several families came to the school to share an important day at Gaztelueta with the pupils.
