At Gaztelueta we also seek to train leaders through the Humanities. For this reason, at all stages of education it is very present in literature and its promotion, and this is also the reason for organising initiatives such as the Humanistic Week or the Short Story Writing Contestthis year in its third edition.
The Humanistic Week, organised by the Spanish Language Departments of Baccalaureate and Secondary, is a competition in the categories of micro-story, short story, short film, theatre, monologue or scientific theme. The winners in the category from 1st to 3rd ESO were Javier Lampreabe in Short story and Diego Moreno in Micro-story.
In the category of 4th ESO to 2nd Bach the winners were Carmen Von Heeren (Ayalde) in Short story; the best Film presentation was carried out by Alfonso Fernández and the Short film most awarded was 'La caja de Pandora' (Pandora's box). Other finalists were Macarena Urrutia, Sofía Echevarría, Patricia López (Ayalde School), Nicolás Martino, Iñigo Solaun, Miguel de Arberas, Miguel Guinea, Álvaro Lanza and Álvaro Gómez.
