Following a tradition deeply rooted since the beginning in Gaztelueta, we have had with the older students -from 4th grade of Primary School to 2nd year of BAC- and with their teachers, the masses at the beginning of the school year going to the Holy Spirit.
This event not only marks the beginning of a new academic year, but is also an opportunity to invoke the guidance and protection of the Holy Spirit to enlighten the entire educational community through his gifts of wisdom, understanding, counsel, fortitude, knowledge, piety and fear of God, as we begin now and over the next nine months.
A large part of personal success in this period will lie in putting into practice what St. Josemaría indicated in his book Camino: Do you really want to be a saint? -Do the little duty of every moment: do what you have to do, do what you have to do. you must and it is in what you do. This requires, on the one hand, the strength of will not to be carried away by the tastes and whims of the moment, and on the other hand, and even more imperatively, the action of the Holy Spirit who with his grace leads us, enlightens us and facilitates this task.
Therefore, once again, but with renewed confidence, we have placed ourselves under God's intercession in this exciting new course that is beginning.
D. Fernando de Andrés. Chaplain of Gaztelueta
