At the beginning of each academic year, one of the most important dates is the meeting that the headmaster holds with the school's Married Couples in Charge of the Year (MECs), from Infants to Baccalaureate, as he is very clear that Gaztelueta will succeed if we work together with the families. This beginning, so different from all the others, after resuming face-to-face classes with the same enthusiasm as always, a virtual meeting was organised for health reasons, led by the current headmaster, Imanol Goyarrola.
In the dialogue, we mainly shared objectives and results, as well as suggestions made by the families about what could be improved. Any contribution helps us to improve and to continue working with enthusiasm in this exciting educational project that we are developing in Gaztelueta.
One of the protagonists was also, and unsurprisingly, the Gaztelueta's protocol before the COVID19, in addition to the Coexistence Plan of the school.
At Gaztelueta we are trying to make every effort to to take care of your children, minimising the risk of contagion. The session also announced the implementation of streaming classes for pupils who are not attending school for health reasons, while at the same time we offer guarantees that we are prepared to offer streaming lessons to classes that have to be quarantined because they have a pupil who has tested positive for Covid-19.
Another major theme of the session was the school's plans for its 70th anniversary, which we will celebrate, circumstances permitting, in October 2021. We think that parents form the decisive link in the educational chain and, without their drive and support, Gaztelueta would not be possible. Therefore, thanks to all of them, and in a very special way this year to the Couples in Charge of each Course.
